Phil Hellmuth Has Epic Meltdown On ‘No Gamble, No Future,’ Storms Off Set

Poker icon Phil Hellmuth left the set abruptly during the shooting of an episode of Poker Go's "No Gamble, No Future" following a profanity-filled outburst at the Aria, Las Vegas.

“The Poker Brat” ripped off his microphone and threw it on the table after he felt he had been disrespected by his opponent, “Humboldt Mike.”

Hellmuth has claimed 17 World Series bracelets — more than anyone else in the world — yet his signature emotional outbursts are legendary. Though the 60-year-old, who previously asserted he could “dodge bullets, baby,” may have softened in recent years, last week’s blast might be memorable for a long time.

‘Star the car’

The situation escalated when Hellmuth dropped a substantial pot to Mike during the $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em cash game that was broadcast last week. However, difficulties had been developing for some time. Earlier, Hellmuth lost a coin flip with A-K against the pocket queens of Ryan Feldman.

“F–ing morons running like this against me, it’s unbelievable,” he seethed.

Eventually, after encountering multiple straddles and a raise to $9,000 from Mike, Hellmuth found himself with A-Q and went all in for his leftover $24K. Once again, he discovered himself in a predicament when Mike revealed pocket jacks.

Hellmuth’s prospects seemed bright when an ace showed up in the window, but they took a turn for the worse when a jack landed on the river.

“Start the car baby, let’s go!” sang Mike dancing a jig around his chair.

However, it was his subsequent remark that really provoked Hellmuth.

“Phil, I’ve got an address if you need to send some [money],” Mike said, as the dealer counted out the chips.

‘You Want Me to Quit?’

Cue meltdown: “Buddy, I told you, alright, you want me to quit? Alright I’m going to f–ing quit. I can’t play with you anymore. You’re such an a–hole, man,” spat Hellmuth.

"I don’t mind losing the flip, I really don’t,” he continued. “But come on, I asked you not to do that s–t. You have been more out of line to me than any other person. No, you’ve been more out of line to me than any other person has been to me in a year and a half. F–k you, man. I don’t know who you f–ing are, but I’m never going to film with you again.”

Even for a Hellmuth outburst, it’s quite remarkable. Certainly, the true victor in this scenario is PokerGo, as the Poker Brat's outbursts possess a distinct viral appeal. This clip has already garnered half a million views on YouTube.
